Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Online Operators collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit our website, apply for an event, book a call, buy a ticket or contact us.
Who is responsible
Online Operators is operated by Ryan Patrick Barry Jr, IČO 29574277, Walterovo Náměstí 985/5, 158 00 Praha 5 - Jinonice, Czech Republic. We are the controller of your personal data. You can reach us at [email protected].
Data we collect
- Application details: your name, email address, phone number, the kind of business you run, and your answers to the application questions, such as your availability and your business revenue. If you start the application and do not finish it, we keep what you entered.
- Booking details: your name, email and any answers you give when you book a call, and the details of calendar and video call invitations.
- Notes: our own notes about your application and about our calls and messages with you, including messages on WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn and email.
- Public information: to check that an application fits the event, we may look at public information about your business or your public social media profile.
- Ticket and payment details: if you become an attendee, your ticket type, the amount, date and method of payment. We do not store card numbers.
- Photos and videos taken at our events.
- Technical data: if you allow cookies, information about how you use our website (see Cookies and tracking). For security, we also briefly keep a scrambled code made from your IP address, to block abuse. It is not your IP address itself.
Why we use your data
- To review your application, schedule calls and contact you about them. This is needed to handle the request you made.
- To sell tickets and run the event. This is needed to provide what you bought.
- To keep accounting and tax records. The law requires this.
- To send you updates about future events. Only if you agree, for example by ticking the box. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To measure which ads and pages work. Only if you allow cookies.
- To run and protect our business, prevent abuse and keep each event relevant for attendees, including photos and videos used to promote the event. This is our legitimate interest. You can object at any time.
- To show sponsors and partners limited information about who is attending, such as name, business and role. This is our legitimate interest. You can object at any time.
Automatic sorting of applications
We use your answers, such as your availability and business revenue, to sort applications automatically, so people who fit the event can book a call right away. A person makes the final decision on who attends. If your answers do not meet the requirements for the full event, we may not offer you a call. You can write to us and ask for a person to review your application.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We do not give your contact details, such as your email address or phone number, to sponsors or to other attendees unless you agree, for example by joining the optional founder group chat, where other members can see your name and phone number or profile. We may tell sponsors, speakers and partners limited information about who is attending, such as your name, your business and your role. Tell us if you do not want your name shared and we will not share it.
We use service providers who process data for us under data processing agreements: website hosting and database (Vercel, Neon), forms (Tally), scheduling (Calendly), calendar and video calls (Google), messaging (WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn), automation and notification tools, advertising and analytics tools if you allow cookies (Meta, Microsoft Clarity), payment and bank providers, and our accountant.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of these providers store or process data in the United States. We rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.
How long we keep it
- Applicants who do not attend: we keep your details only as long as we need them to run and invite people to our events. We review our records at least once a year and delete details we no longer need. We also delete your details when you ask.
- Attendees: we keep your details while we need them to run the event and follow up with attendees, and we delete them when we no longer need them. We keep payment records as long as Czech accounting and tax law requires.
- Marketing updates: until you unsubscribe.
- Backup copies may still contain your data for a short time after we delete it from our main system.
Cookies and tracking
Our main website and our booking pages can use these tools, only if you allow cookies: Meta Pixel, which measures the results of our advertising, and Microsoft Clarity, which shows us how pages are used through recordings and heatmaps. Our application page does not use them. The Calendly calendar shows its own cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer where it is shown, or by clearing your browser data. These providers have their own privacy policies.
If we contact you first
If we message you first, for example on LinkedIn or Instagram, it is because of your public business profile. Tell us if you do not want to be contacted and we will stop and delete our notes about you.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or move it to another service. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and withdraw your consent at any time. Contact [email protected] and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Czech data protection authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).
Security
We protect your data with password-protected access, encrypted connections and limits on who can see it. If a data breach puts you at risk, we will tell you and the authority as the law requires.
Children
Our events are for adults who run businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any privacy-related matters will be handled under applicable Czech and European Union data protection rules, including the GDPR.
